Top Prize Lottery Ticket Sold in Victoria

In case you didn't know, I have had good luck with Texas Lottery Scratch-off's in the past.  I normally play about three times a week.  Well, Today I was getting my usual drink and, I hear a little excitement in the front.  What happened?  It turns out a man just won a Top Prize of $250,000 on a $10 scratch-off.  It was the newest $10 ticket Cool Riches and what do you know it was #1 on the roll, for those of you who believe that the lower ticket numbers are better.   In case you haven't played this ticket, check out the video below.

Here is the kicker, that is the current ticket that I am playing. If I only would have been at the store just 3 minutes earlier, I would have purchased that winning ticket.  There are only four top prize jackpots in circulation in the State and one of them was found right here in Victoria.  The store will remain anonymous for now, while the clerk did confirm through the lottery system.  It has not yet been made public by the Texas Lottery.

It seems like there has been more winning in our area lately.  Just last week, a $47 million jackpot ticket was purchased at Pic N Pac 10, located at 109 Highway 123 N. Bypass in Seguin.  In September, a Corpus Christi resident claimed a top prizewinning ticket worth $2.5 million in the Texas Lottery $20 scratch ticket game Instant Millionaire. The ticket was purchased at PMI 2, located at 910 S. Tancahua St., in Corpus Christi. This person chose to remain anonymous.

The next Texas Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Thursday and the jackpot is an estimated $60 million
