A team of 5 people will be selected as "Nap Reviewers" and will document their nap experiences for 30 days. A person over the age of 18 from any country is eligible to apply by May 31, 2021. Further qualifications include strong English writing skills and the ability to sleep alone during the testing period.

“The idea that napping is for young children and burnt out university students is slowly dissipating and an increasing number of working adults are beginning to see the benefits of a daytime snooze," stated Jasmine Lee of Each Night. "Understanding that napping can be a tricky thing to get right, we wanted to test out some of the theories behind the practice and decided how better to gather our findings than on real people who might benefit from a nap the most. If you think you’re up to the job, or know somebody who is, please do share and apply.”

The Nap Reviewers will participate in trials that test out theories such as the best nap duration for feeling refreshed, the effects of napping on overall levels of fatigue, and the effects of napping on memory, motivation, and productivity.

Each Nap Reviewer will also take part in a video call before and after each experiment to review instructions and answer a verbal questionnaire concerning their experiences and results.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
