Texas Man Fatally Shoots His Wife in Driveway Then Kills Himself

A quiet neighborhood in Katy, Texas, was rocked by a tragic incident that unfolded on Tuesday night after a 35-year-old woman was fatally shot and killed by her estranged husband, who then turned the gun on himself.

2 WOMAN ATTACKED

Deputies responded to the scene around 10:55 p.m. where they found a woman lifeless in the driveway with a fatal gunshot wound. Equally distressing, a 25-year-old woman had been stabbed during the incident and was rushed to the hospital, where she is expected to survive.

THE FATAL CONFRONTATION

The violent episode occurred as a wife returned home from work. She was confronted by her estranged husband as she got out of her car. Suddenly, the husband shot and killed his 35-year-old wife in the driveway.

After murdering his wife outside, he forced his way into the house, where he attacked a 25-year-old woman. Heartbreakingly, three innocent children, aged 7, 13, and 16, were present inside the home when the violence erupted. Thankfully, they escaped physical harm, but the emotional scars left by this horrifying event will likely linger for a long time.

ESTRANGED HUSBAND FOUND DEAD BY SUICIDE

The estranged husband was found about a mile from the house, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The authorities revealed that there were prior domestic violence calls related to the couple, which are still under investigation.
