Rapper Killed in Houston Just 1 Day After Bragging About a Murder

A rapper was shot and killed in Houston just one day after he bragged about a murder in an incredibly controversial social media post.

BTB Savage is an amateur rapper living in Houston, Texas. The rapper had recently met with DJ Vlad to talk about a recent break-in. During the interview, BTB Savage explained that burglars broke into his home while his son and girlfriend were over. 

During the interview, BTB Savage claimed that he instructed his girlfriend to shoot the intruder. In the interview, he said the burglar was pleading to help but the rapper told him, "I don't give a **** about you. You're going to die."

Showing off a wristwatch, the rapper is standing around what looks like a blood-splattered floor and bullet holes in his door. Police have not confirmed whether the blood in the photos was connected to the murder, however, comments on social media point towards the connection.

Bernita Ward, mother of the rapper told ABC 13 she warned her son about the photos he posted online. "I said take that off social media. Let this family mourn in peace. They were taunting my son, though, telling him they were going to kill the family, make his momma cry, and kill his son. I told my son, 'Don't respond. Let it go.' 

In less than 24 hours after the fatal robbery, BTB Savage was found dead near his vehicle. A vicious murder scene shows the rapper dead on the ground near a bullet hole-splattered vehicle. Police said the suspects were in a black Subaru.

Many claims that the musician was murdered in retaliation. Ward also believes her son was murdered in retaliation.

"The moral of this story is two mothers lost two amazing sons and that their children would be raised without fathers," Ward said. "That's the sad thing." She ends with a very strong message, "I want to encourage all the youth, stop the violence; stop the violence. Do something different with your life. I am fully aware of who my son is. The violence that takes place in these streets with these youth is so unnecessary. Kill your debt, kill the negativity. Don't kill each other."
