Has Lays Flavors Gone Too Far?
If you are a fan of lays chips, then you probably already have a favorite flavor. If you are an adventurous person, you may even be so keen as to try the new flavors of Lays chips. So, let me be frank about this; I don't quite care for the new flavors of Lays. There I said it. No Regerts (Yeah, I know its wrong)! There are, in my opinion, too many flavor-experiments by Lays and every year Lays comes out with new flavors. Are you aware of the 2020 new Lays flavors? They came out a couple weeks ago, so you should have at least heard of them, right? This year's new car additions to Lays' Flavor Train are Cheddar Jalapeno, Kettle Cooked Flamin' Hot, and Sea Salt & Vinegar. While the first one doesn't sound bad, the other two...why? Just...just why?
If you couldn't guess already, I am not a fan of vinegar anything. When vinegar becomes a chip flavor, I have to wonder how many people requested that before it happened. Vinegar flavor fans, was that something you were seeking in a chip flavor or did you become a fan after the flavor already came out?
Are you aware that there is a flavor that is exclusively found in China? Only recently did it become an import to Lafayette, New Orleans but the language on the bag is still Chinese. China Lays is continuing their string of sea-food flavors after having grilled eel as an option. Here are some other "interesting" flavors that lays has come out with
Caesar Salad
Wasabi Ginger
Hot & Sour Fish Soup
Cappuccino
Fried Green Tomatoes
Greektown Gyro
Szechuan Chicken
Beer 'N' Brauts
Biscuits & Gravy

So let me ask you, "Has Lays flavors gone too far?" Perhaps some may consider that they haven't gone far enough. I shudder to think what may be the flavor of chip in that scenario. With the upcoming big football event in Miami, what flavor of Lays will you be enjoying? I can tell you now that Lays already has a plan and a portfolio ready to advertise their brand to make sure you have Frito-Lays in your snack lineup. If you want more information on that, click here.
