Fall is upon us and the cooler weather will come and stay...eventually. So let us cool off with some great Autumn themed drinks. Heads up, most of the ingredients can be found locally at you local liquor store or grocery store. With that in mind, let's commence the mixing...

(This is an Autumn Fig)

Autumn Fig Sangria (original source)
Ingredients:
1 bottle Dry White Wine
1 c Apple Cider
¼ c Apple Brandy
¼ c Orange Liqueur
1 Orange (sliced)
1 Red Apple (sliced)
1 Pear (sliced)
5 Figs (sliced)
3 Cinnamon Sticks (not sliced)
How To:
Combine all the ingredients into a pitcher and let it sit over night in the refrigerator. Then serve in a glass with ice.

Sage Fig Cocktail (original source)
Ingredients:
2 Black Mission Figs (halved)
2 oz White Rum
1 oz Grand Marnier
1 oz Sage-Infused Simple Syrup (see original source for recipe)
½ oz Lemon Juice
4-5 oz Club Soda (or enough to top off glass)
How To:
In a shaker, muddle the figs and then add the rest of the ingredients (minus the club soda) and ice and shake well. Then strain the concoction into a glass with ice and top off the glass with the club soda.

Orange-Thyme Old Fashioned (original source)
Ingredients:
2 oz Bourbon
1 tbsp Orange-Thyme Simple Syrup (see original source for recipe)
1 dash (1/8 tsp) Angostura Bitters
Garnish – Orange Zest Strip, Thyme Sprig
How To:
In a shaker with ice, combine the ingredients (minus the garnish) and shake well. Then strain into a glass with ice and add the garnish.

Ingredients:
2 oz Fresh Apple Cider
2 oz Cognac
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz Lemon Juice
Garnish – Lemon Zest Strip, Brandied Cherries
How To:
In a shaker with ice all the ingredients (minus the garnish) and shake well. Then strain into a chilled glass and add the garnish.
