Ready for some Summer fun? How do you like to enjoy your Summer? Go on trips? Hike? Swim? Stay inside with the A/C on full blast not giving any worry in the world to the oncoming electricity bill. Wanna try your at some At Home Bartendering? Then here are some drinks that are not only easy to make, but not too costly to put together.

Whiskey Collins (original source)
1/3 c Sugar
1/3 c Water
2 c Japanese Whiskey (ex. Nikka or Suntory)
1 c Fresh Lemon Juice
12oz (1 can) Club Soda
Garnish – Lemon Twist
First mix the sugar and water together in a jar and shake it until the sugar is dissolved. Combine that, the whiskey, lemon juice and club soda in a large pitcher with ice and stir. Pour the concoction into a glass and garnish with a lemon twist (be sure to have a few to several on stand by for the extra drink still in the pitcher).

1½ oz Gin
1 oz Lime Juice
2 dashes (¼ tsp) Grenadine
1 tsp Simple Syrup
3 oz Bitter Lemon
Garnish – Lemon Wedge
In a shaker with ice, combine the ingredients (minus the bitter lemon and garnish) and shake well. Strain the mixture into a tall glass with ice and top it off with the bitter lemon and garnish with the lemon wedge.
Caribbean Coco (original source)
1 oz El Dorado 3 Year Rum
1 oz Clement Coco Rum
1/3 oz Coco Milk Based Yogurt
½ oz Simple Syrup
½ oz Lime Juice
1 dash (1/8 tsp) Angostura Bitters
Garnish – Sprig of Mint
Combine the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well. Then strain the drink into a coconut with ice. Now you might be wondering about putting the drink into a coconut, yes? Well there is an easy way to turn a coconut into a drinking glass. Here’s how you do it. After all that is done, garnish with a sprig of mint and enjoy your creation.
Sour Green Apple Margarita (original source)
½ c Jalapeno Simple Syrup
1 c Sour Green Apple Juice
¼ c Fresh Lime Juice
¾ c Tequila (your choice)
¼ c Triple Sec or Grand Marnier
Garnish – Lime Wedge,
Rim – Kosher Salt
Rim the glass with the lime wedge and salt to start off. In a shaker with ice, add the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well, then strain into salted glass (with ice) and garnish with a lime wedge.
All, if not most, of these drink ingredients can be found at your local liquor store. Keep in mind that the summer heat is unforgiving and you need to make sure to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated and cool.
