Best Facebook Pages to Friend in Victoria – Melissa’s Top Five
Facebook is one of those things you can’t stand but at the same time can’t live without. I say can’t live without it because so many people communicate through facebook and the birthday updates can be a life saver! Everybody has posts they enjoy reading, whether it be a friend or page. Here are a few people and pages I laugh at each time I read. Too bad there isn’t an “Amen” button to click when I read them cause it seems like I feel the same way they do: Sarah Hawkins, Jamie Powell, Chad Schaefer, Jack FM, and Storm Chasers.

The first one that comes to mind is my cousin Sarah Hawkins, a mother of 3 soon to be 4. Sarah’s posts are usually about one of her children and what they are doing or what they shouldn’t have done, so I can relate. One of her most recent posts was, “Not sure what the punishment should be for Emma doing Tyler's homework....actually I'm not even sure who to punish.” She should write a book called Out of the Mouth of Babes and would probably be a bestseller. Another post I remember is ,” Tyler 'accidentally' kicked Bowen in the mouth and gave him a bloody lip. I told him to say he was sorry and he said, 'Darn! Your tooth didn't fall out!'” Sarah is an awesome mother and reading her daily posts always makes me laugh.

Now if you want to hear someone tell you like it is, Jamie Powell’s posts will be reading enjoyment for you. If you’re a male you might get offended at some of her posts but once again she is telling it like she sees it. For example, she posted the other day, “He said to me…How many men does it take to change a roll of toilet paper? I said to him .. .. I don't know; it has never happened.” Or if she is needs the facts, no fear, she will ask just like this post: “Can someone tell me as far a "day care" HOW MANY TEACHERS to kids there should be?? I need to get facts PLEASE. “ Last but not least you will enjoy seeing all the pics she post of her little boys Hayden and Cole. Cole is learning to become a bull rider and her little one Hayden is only 3 dresses like a cowboy all the time. Check out this picture of him feeding his horse while eating breakfast.

My favorite guy to follow on facebook would Mr. Chad Schafer. He has a great sense of humor. He is a bachelor so for you girls who are single ask him to friend you. He may be president one day but who knows with his last post “Since I still have a AAA credit rating, and have no debt…maybe I could teach the Government a thing or two. I approve this message, Chadley W. Schaefer for president 2012.- Sounds good to me” Chad used to update daily but due to stalkers, and nosey people he no longer updates as much as he used to. So thanks to those who ruined it for us. Chad says facebook is a great way to find people and chat but there is too much crap and stupid whining that goes on. And what about those nosey people who never speak or comment about things, but when you see them.. they are like “Yeah I seen your status”. Ummmm so why didn’t you comment he asks? I have to agree with Chad. only about 20% of your friends actually communicate but 75% of them are snooping around on facebook. So hopefully one day he will go back to his old ways and start those funny status updates again … his last post said “It’s all fun and games until you realize your Capri-Sun has no straw” and boy is that true.

You never know what JACK is going to post or say. He says exactly how he feels and doesn’t hold back. Who is JACK? I like to compare JACK to a mall Santa Clause because you are not quite sure who you might be talking to. JACK says he will never make fun of you, but JACK will make fun of what you just write......and if you’re lucky he might just compliment you or what you write. So if you befriend him don’t get your feelings. Hurt he does it to everybody. JACK seems to like the ladies a little more than others......but that doesn't mean he doesn't mix it up with guys of Facebook. JACK also has an ability to get people talking.....and it seems like people don't get mad at JACK, they either agree or they agree to disagree which is what JACK seems to like. Civil discourse. JACK also somehow has the ability to get people to do things......bikinis or planking, but this summer JACK had hundreds of photographs submitted. I even planked for JACK.
