Citizen's Medical Center would like to invite you to bake and make a difference in the lives of women in the Crossroads who need mammograms.

Citizen's Medical Center will be " Baking" A Difference on October 22nd.

As many of us know by now, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but what many of us don't know is that about one in every eight women will develop invasive breast cancer in their lifetime and about 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. Early detection is critical, yet many women find they can not pay for mammograms, critical in detecting cancer in its earliest stages.

Citizen's Medical Center is striving to be sure every woman in the Crossroads who needs a mammogram is able to get one. This year CMC is inviting the ENTIRE community to come together for an event like no other, " Baking A Difference."

Baking A Difference is a virtual baking class and auction where 100 percent from the Baking A Difference baking and auction event will be used to cover mammogram costs in the Crossroads area for those in need. 100 percent.

Participants are able to purchase tickets for this unique 'virtual' baking event, which includes the ability to tune in to this event and all of the pre-measured baking supplies needed. Also included in the baking "kit" are all of the ingredients you need for a tasty signature mock-tail alongside Chef Michael Rodriquez virtually.

You can register today at CMCBAKINGADIFFERENCE.ORG or by clicking here. You can also register and follow this event on the official Baking A Difference Facebook page here as well.

Please share this critical fundraising opportunity with your family and friends so they too can join us as we "Bake A Difference," help local women and continue the fight against breast cancer.
