571 UHV Students Walk in Fall Commencement

University of Houston-Victoria saw 571 students graduate in a ceremony held Saturday at the Leonard E. Merrell Center in Katy.

UHV Faculty Senate President Beverly Tomek served as Grand Marshal for the ceremony, and District 18 State Senator Lois Kolkhorst of Brenham was the keynote speaker.

UHV Interim President Vic Morgan said the ceremony "was a celebration and recognition of their success."
