On behalf of Warrior's Weekend, we would like to invite the public to cheer on 36 Purple Heart recipients for our first Purple Heart Challenge, Saturday, November 7th.

The Purple Heart Challenge is a new opportunity for our community to honor warriors and the wives of our Purple Heart warriors as well.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 kept us from hosting Warrior's Weekend in May but thankfully we are able to honor these 36 Purple Heart recipients at the Purple Heart Challenge this Saturday, November 7th.

Here is a full-color PDF invitation for you to view, print, display, and share in the orange button below.

What makes this event even extra special is having wives of Purple Heart recipients in attendance. It's our way to say thank you to the ones that support our warriors on a daily basis.

You are welcome to join us at Froggy's at Port O'Connor early on Saturday morning as we launch for a day of fishing and again to be on the docks when we return at 2 pm.

Saturday evening, after a private dinner, we invite the community to attend a very special screening of the documentary "Above the Best," a film about the Apache pilots who supported ground operations in Afghanistan as well as a Q&A after the documentary with special guests CW4 Dan Flores, US Army, retired and MSG Terry Best, US Army, retired.

The movie will be screened at the Honor Pavillion at Parkway Church, 4802 John Stockbauer at 7pm.

Honor a veteran, encourage a first responder, sponsor a flag, and remember those that serve on Veterans Day Nov.11th 2020.

If you would like more information you are welcome to call Col. Petrash at 210.364.4512.
