Thief Driving Backhoe Smashes Through an ATM – Watch the Incredible Video

In Pine Prairie, Louisiana, a thief attempted to rob an ATM on Monday by breaking it open with a piece of heavy construction equipment, ‘The Early Show’ reports — and the incident was caught on the store’s security camera.

The suspected thief allegedly stole a backhoe from the Pine Prairie Water Board, then drove it through the front window of Sham’s Bait and Tackle Shop where an ATM stood. While the backhoe was strong enough to dislodge the cash machine, it didn’t break it open.

Police are now investigating the incident and searching for the suspect. Check out the incredible footage below:
