Chick-fil-A, Whataburger, and Starbucks have made big changes over concerns about the new coronavirus.  These are the latest changes that  we will be seeing in Victoria.  David Murphy from Chick-fil-A issued this statement, earlier today,

'Chick-fil-A will temporarily be closing our dining rooms effective Wednesday, March 18. For now, we will continue counter service at the Victoria Mall restaurant, as well as fulfill Chick-fil-A App orders, for the limited hours of 11:30am - 7:30pm. At our Whispering Creek restaurant, we will continue with drive thru and mobile curbside ordering only.'

Whataburger will also being closing their dining rooms, at 3 this afternoon. They issued their statement via their Facebook page.  While Whataburgers dining rooms will be  closed, they will  continue to serve guests through our drive-thru — offering a full menu at all of their restaurants 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Starbucks is also temporarily changing to a 'to go' only restaurant.  With the COVID-19 situations becoming more of a concern, expect to see other fast food chains and restaurants follow suite.

With many dining rooms closing, this might be your chance to show some support for our local eateries.  This is the time to support to our local restaurants and businesses!  Stay safe and stay positive, my friends!
