Lately, Covid-19 has been quite the buzzkill since it entered into the United States. First concerts were postponed, then extending spring break, and now cancelations for St. Patty's Day parties. Clearly it doesn't make sense to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on another date. If you are already a homebody then celebrating St. Patrick's Day at home is a piece of cake. But if you're more the social type, then these party tips will make celebrating in quarantine fun.

If you're of Irish heritage or just fond of the Irish motivating force means the party must go on. Just because Covid-19 canceled St. Patty's parties doesn't mean the shenanigans must be called off period. Besides celebrating the spirit of the Irish doesn't have to take place outdoors. Plus, if you whoop it up too hard, you can just take a few steps right to your bed instead of getting behind the wheel.

    Cooking an Irish Meal

The Irish have quite a few delicious recipes you can make on St. Patrick's Day. If you're going to celebrate Irish roots it is best to do it the right way. If you're in the mood for soup then you should whip up the Irish Guinness Beef Stew. But if you like to mix your food together then I suggest you cook the Irish Sheperd's Pie. But one dish that is VERY popular with the Irish is the Bacon and Cabbage Plate.

    Watch Irish Flicks

After all the hard work of cooking and mixing end the night with some Irish flicks. Of course, the Syfy channel will be showing all the horror Leprauchan movies tonight. But there are other popular Irish films to see on a night like tonight. Another Irish horror flick that became popular quick is The Hole In The Ground. A favorite of mine is P.S. I Love You which is a chick flick. There are plenty of recommendations for Irish movies here.
