More High Marks for Victoria Higher Education

Victoria College has been recognized by the Texas Association of Community Colleges as a 2017 Math Pathways Exemplar. Out of 28 community colleges in the Lone Star State, VC was recognized for the pathways movement, which is designed to line up math courses more closely with a students major and career interests. The idea is to help students streamline their studies to avoid unnecessary math courses, which can hinder some students from graduating.

Math pathways gear courses to specific fields of study, help students finish math courses faster, and help them develop strategies for for learning.
