Imagine going to Shooters and  seeing nothing but people your age. The dance floor is packed with jams from our younger days. I mean classics like Soul 4 Real's "Candy Rain" and "Return of the Mack" by Mark Morrison. The dancefloor is full by 9 p.m. and last call is at 10:45 p.m. with lights on at 11 p.m. Oh yeah, not one phone in sight. I am thinking out loud, however, this would work!

As a DJ, I spend many nights jamming in the clubs around Victoria, and I have noticed something - people around my age group usually start leaving around 11 p.m. while the youngsters close out the building.
Then I started to think about it, what if a club opened at 7 p.m. and got poppin' around 9 p.m. and closed at 11 p.m.? It's actually something that is trending around the country.
Dance floors are not what they used to be.
Over the years, I have seen the vibes inside the club change. Back in the 90s and 2000s, it was all about getting on the dancefloor. You felt the music, and you didn't care if you got all sweaty. You just lived in the moment with no phone in hand. That also meant there was no memories of what you forgot you did the night before.
Now the club is a lot of just vibing out, filming yourself dance on your phone so you can send it to your socials. And this why phone wouldn't be allowed in Victoria's exclusive 30 and older club. Because how fun is dancing by yourself? Dancing in the club should be social like it used to be!
Plus, Victoria's 30 and older exclusive club would play only the good stuff. My opinion is that today's club, R&B, and hip-hop beats are not as danceable as they used to be! That's why we'd be taking it back old school.
