Ghost Kitchens are Popping Up Everywhere – Including Victoria

WHAT IS A GHOST KITCHEN?

Ghost kitchens are restaurants without dining space. They focus on selling and fulfilling online food orders for delivery using third-party apps like Grubhub, UberEats, and DoorDash, or with their own delivery operation. Because of this concept, most ghost kitchens have no visible storefront.  Ghost kitchens were introduced in 2020 because of the COVID pandemic and the new idea has caught fire in the United States, including Victoria.  Even though these foods are prepared in another restaurant's kitchen, they have their own brand's flavor profile, bringing many more food options to the Victoria area.

Check Out This Epic Burger Challenge in Victoria, Texas

I am always writing about food challenges from around the state and I have finally found an epic burger challenge here in Victoria. This is the Challenge Burger at Grumpy's Meatzzeria. You have 15 minutes to finish this epic burger!  It consists of 6-half pound patties and each patty has one piece of American and one piece of Swiss cheese. It is also plated with 1 pound of french fries and 1 pound of tater tots.   If you finish the burger in 15 minutes, it's free, if not it's $49.99.
