In the last few days, we've covered two news stories about several young teens in our community that have been arrested for crimes like stealing from convenience stores and driving stolen vehicles.

Incidents and arrests like these might make you wonder about crime in our community and what it must be like to be a police officer these days, especially in Victoria and surrounding counties.

You can learn exactly what life is like for an officer of the law in the Crossroads.

The Victoria Police Department offers classes to teach civilians in our community exactly what it means to be an officer of the law in Victoria, and you are invited to learn the ins and outs at the FREE Civilian Police Academy.
