Independence Day weekend is finally here. Texans in the Crossroads are looking forward to a fun weekend, and who doesn't love an extra day off? Fist bump though if your working.

Where Can I Go Watch Fireworks in the Crossroads?

I am SO glad you asked that question! The button below the video will take you through a road map of fireworks and celebrations happening all over the Crossroads.

Stay Home and Stream Victoria's Fireworks Display

The city of Victoria will be making the Sunday evening fireworks show available online. Now anyone who doesn't want to head down to the Victoria Community Center and fight the traffic afterward can see the show right over their phone from the comfort of the back porch. Quick tip, do you have mosquito repellent? It's going to be a hungry 4th. To stream Victoria's fireworks display online visit the City of Victoria, Texas – Government. A live feed of the fireworks will be available there. Fireworks begin at 9:30 P.M. on Sunday evening.

Live Music & Carnival

This is definitely NOT last year's 4th of July! Victoria is really celebrating the community coming back together this weekend. So enjoy the return of the Big Texas Fun carnival along with live musical performances on Sunday including 'Bag of Donuts', appearing all the way from New Orleans. You can see more info on the 4th of July activities downtown here. The carnival stays open until midnight through Monday.

Enjoy Our 245th Independence Day!

Walking around H-E-B+ this week everyone was talking about plans for the holiday. I stopped for a second just to kinda listen to what people were talking about (It's what radio people do). I heard about concerts, recipes, I heard about which one of your relatives you wish wasn't visiting for a few days. It was just nice to see after all the things that have been canceled over the past year. The 4th of July is definitely ON in Victoria.
