Victoria Emergency Management Meeting 3-31-2020

Today's meeting included a discussion about the 7 new cases in Victoria County overnight. This brings the total to 15 in Victoria County. The panel in today's meeting stress to the public to avoid crowds of people.

It was suggested during today's meeting If you see a line of people outside of H-E-B to turn around and go home. If you see people gathering in a crowd in a store, in a park, or in your neighborhood, the best thing you can do is stay away.

We expect to see further social distancing orders from city officials as we move through the week. A shelter in place is already in effect for many counties in Texas. Victoria County also seems to be moving in this direction with the continued increase in positive cases of Covid-19.
