Victoria Emergency Management Meeting 3-27-2020

Today's meeting included a discussion about Economic Disaster loans for local small businesses. Any business owner is invited to apply by calling the UVH small business office at 361 485 4485.

Today's meeting also included information on signing up for unemployment benefits in light of what Covid-19 has done to area businesses.

The homeless population of South Texas is also a risk that is on many people's minds. The city is working on installing several local hand washing stations to help protect this community. These handwashing stations are at City Hall, Christ Kitchen, and other locations in Victoria mentioned in the video above.

A shower station is also being set up at 1204 Moody Street and will give the homeless access to soap, water, a hot shower, and clean clothing.
