The Dallas Cowboys play on our sister station KIXS 108! Are you ready for some football (we hope)?

At this point, I don't even care which sport comes back first, I'm just ready to see something on TV again that is sports-related. I'm even willing to do some rain-dance type voodoo to ensure the football season actually returns at the end of the summer. I can deal with no crowds in the stadiums, but I can't watch anything else on Netflix. I've seen all the shows now.

According to ESPN, the Cowboys continue to make moves. It's like they are actually preparing for the season! Yay! Veteran free-agent cornerback Daryl Worley (not the country singer) has agreed to terms with the team according to an Instagram post from this morning.

The team has seen a lot of new faces this offseason. After the recent NFL draft, the Cowboys are actually no worse for the ware heading into 2020 season only losing 2 players to free agency. They also have several corners who can also play safety including Worley.

Daryl comes to Dallas after his most recent stint with the Raiders that started back in 2018. Coach Gruden was a big fan of Worley's work from both the corner and free safety positions. The 25-year-old missed 1 game last year with a neck injury and finished with 1 interception, a fumble recovery. He broke up 8 passes and had 51 solo tackles for the Raiders.

Worley's career began as a draft selection by the Carolina Panthers in 2016. He was soon traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles let Worley go after he was found passed out inside a vehicle blocking the highway outside a team facility. He served a 4 game suspension to start the 2018 season and was then released by the Eagles and ended up with the Raiders.
