The Library of Congress has announced the addition of 25 new records to the National Recording Registry, including classic works by Santana, Billy Joel and Metallica.
One Long Island icon bade farewell to another last night, when Billy Joel closed out Nassau Coliseum with a rollicking set that lasted more than three hours and included special guest Paul Simon.
"I realize that ivory piano keys are preferred by some pianists," says Billy Joel. "But a preference for ivory keys does not justify the slaughter of 96 elephants every day."
