All the leprechauns in Texas will be painting the towns green next week! The State of Texas has had many migrations settle, and the Irish were no exception. Actually, before Texas became Independent from Mexico, The Mexican government allowed Irish Catholic to settle the area of Refugio, Texas in South Texas.

When it comes time to celebrate St. Patrick Day, you may most commonly think of New York City, Chicago or other areas of the east coast. But Texas has some great celebrations too!
