Spider-Man Rescues Anderson Cooper From the Green Goblin In Weirdest Video of the New Year

As if Kathy Griffin stripping down to her bra during CNN’s New Year’s Eve coverage wasn’t bad enough, poor Anderson Cooper also had to contend with being abducted by the Green Goblin from the Broadway play ‘Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.’ Fortunately, however, the webslinger himself was there to save the day.

The supervillain held Cooper hostage until Spider-Man arrived to free him with just enough time to host the New Year’s Eve telecast. And, no, Spidey didn’t get tangled up in wires this time. Watch the insanity below.
