TIPS TO KEEP POLLEN OUT OF YOUR HOME
- Keep your windows and doors closed
- It's beautiful outside and you might be craving fresh air, but there's a good chance that the breeze is full of pollen.
- Remove your shoes before entering your home
- Don't track in pollen, and leave your shoes at the door.
- Empty your vacuum outside
- You've just sucked up a bunch of dust and pollen, don't go and spread it back into the air while dumping it into your kitchen trash can.
- Brush and wipe down pets coming inside and out of the home
- If you've got pets going in and out, give them a good brush outside and wipe those paws with pet wipes to reduce any pollen they might have tracked in from outside.
- Use a pollen air filter
- There are specific air filters you can purchase to help cut down on pollen, make sure you're replacing them often.
- Dust with a microfiber cloth
- Microfiber towels will trap dust and pollen inside by just brushing them back into the air.
- Use in an air purifier
- Investing in an air purifier will work wonders. They've been proven to remove pollen from the air before they can even settle on a surface.
