Riverside Activities for Summer 2020

It's summer and as we gear up to go out our community parks are just waiting for you!

Here is a list of the most recent upcoming events happening in our Victoria parks straight from Victoria Parks and Recreation. You are always more than welcome to call Victoria Parks and Recreation if you have questions as well at 361. 485. 3200.

Today is the deadline to register for Adult Disc Golf, June 3rd, but you can ALWAYS come out to play disc golf any day. Looking for disc golf supplies? Acadamy has inexpensive starter kits. Never played disc golf before? Here is a great website link for details straight from the DGA website. Click here.  We've got famous disc golf courses at Riverside just FYI. Disc golf enthusiasts have come from all over the world to play at Riverside. FACTS!

Top Gun fans can get their game on with Adult Sand Volleyball League which you can register for until June 5th. You can do this! Get your game on and your toes in the sand. Wait, in a league game do you have to wear shoes?

What about our high school baseball fans? High schoolers can register for Fastpitch until June 10th and Baseball registration ends June 24th.

Adult softball registration ends June 24th and for those who can KICK IT, Kickball registration is also open until June 24th as well.

Let's not forget you can rent kayaks from Flow Paddle Co. all summer long too.

Victoria Parks and Recreation will also host its ANNUAL KAYAK Clinic in August too!

And if this isn't all awesome enough THIS SATURDAY, Saturday, June 6th, you can fish WITHOUT a license at Riverside Park along the Guadalupe River! That's right, Texas Parks and Wildlife has designated this Saturday as the one day of the year you can fish without a license. Here are the details;
