Body Found at Best Western in Jasper, Texas

Late Tuesday evening news outlets in South Texas began to report that the body of a child matching Sameul's description had been discovered at a hotel in Jasper. Jasper, Texas is about 130 miles to the Northeast of the area near Houston where Olson went missing. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner took to Twitter with the announcement after 10 P.M. last evening.

Samuel's sixth birthday was Saturday according to a story shared by KHOU.com. Houston's team of investigators is said to have arrived at the hotel to gather evidence Wednesday morning.

Given many facts that don't seem to add up, police expect it to be some time before they can be certain about some of the facts in Samuel's disappearance. Police say they have to go all the way back to April 30 to be able to verify the last time the boy was actually in school. Our prayers go out to his family and friends to try to piece together what actually happened.
