Earlier this week, all eyes were on the Gulf of Mexico as Hurricane Laura strengthened.  At one point, the forecasted landfall was headed straight for Galveston. That did not happen! Landfall made fall just west of the Texas border in Louisiana, sparing Galveston.  Our prayers, of course, got out to all that have been affected by Hurricane Laura.

It's now back to business as usual and Moody Gardens has reopened today!   The Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center, and Moody Gardens Golf Course have resumed full operations today.  If you looking to make a road trip tomorrow, Moody Gardens Attractions will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29 for regular operations.
