Mike Myers Deemed ‘Worthy’ of Alice Cooper Concert Cameo
While Wayne and Garth might not feel worthy, a New York audience most certainly was last week when Alice Cooper blessed them with a Mike Myers cameo during his show at the Beacon Theater.
Cooper was schooling the crowd in how to end a concert with full theatrics on display during the performance of "School's Out," but after the intros were made for several stage performers including himself, Myers walked out from the side of the stage (at around the 6:51 mark of the video above).
The actor who played Wayne Campbell in the Wayne's World film and Saturday Night Live skits recreated the famous scene in which his character bows to Cooper proclaiming he's not worthy to be in the same space as the shock rock icon, but eventually Cooper offers his hand for Myers to kiss. For those who need a refresher from the original film, check out the scene below.
Cooper recently wrapped a leg of touring, but will return to the stage in October. See his current touring schedule here. Myers, meanwhile, currently has another alter ego these days, portraying comedian Tommy Maitland as host of ABC's The Gong Show revival.
