January is not only the start of a new year but here in South Texas, it's also a time to recognize the important, life-saving work done by South Texas blood & Tissue Center. They work tirelessly year round to make sure hospitals have the blood needed for patients of all kinds that might be undergoing surgery or who suffer trauma that requires emergency medical care. Donating blood isn't something that most people think about very often, and that's why we like to help spread the word by sponsoring blood drives throughout the year.

First off, we want to thank all the donors that gave a lifesaving donation during our Holiday Blood Drive last month, over 100 people donated!

Secondly, we want to let you know that there are several drives this month where you can donate. Here is a list of drives the rest of this month.
