A short handwritten note completely shattered the world of one young woman who had recently dropped everything to move to Texas with her boyfriend.

It took months for Jillian Lavin to post one of the most traumatic and confusing times in her life. Known as Spritely online, the artist uploaded a breakup song that instantly went viral on social media. The song became an instant hit with users online triggering them to share their horrific breakups.

The couple had a long history but in the end, it wasn't enough to keep their 3+ year relationship going.

THE COUPLE'S TIMELINE

Spritely initially met her ex as an eighth-grade pen pal, but they lost touch until they reconnected nearly a decade later. They started a long-distance relationship before he moved to Los Angeles for her. In early 2023, he wanted to return to Texas, so they agreed to live in a city close to his family’s farm. But soon after the move, he broke up with her in a short note, saying they were “incompatible.”

Another user shared,
