Texas weather doesn’t give warnings and these recent tornados in Texas got me thinking about hurricane preparation. It's much better to be prepared than to scramble around last minute. Lets pack a hurricane kit together:

1. Water: At least one gallon per person daily for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation.
2. LED flashlights and extra batteries: Energy-efficient and long-lasting lighting options.
3. Non-perishable food: A three-day supply of food that doesn’t require cooking, such as canned goods, granola bars, and dried fruit.
4. First aid kit: Including bandages, antiseptics, medications, and any necessary personal prescriptions.
5. Battery-powered or hand-crank radio: To stay informed about weather updates and emergency broadcasts.
6. Portable power banks: For charging cell phones and other essential devices.
