Cancer and the Various Factors

There are a variety of factors that contribute to cancer rates. People who have family members with cancer can be more prone due to genetics, air pollution, and even where you work can all have an effect on cancer rates.
Other factors like socioeconomics, can play a critical role. If someone is unable to afford or get access to preventive care, then that can disproportionately place them at higher risk, as well.
