Our Second Teachers Supply Drive is Scheduled for August 5th

For the second year, Townsquare Media Victoria, home of KIXS 108, KLUB Tejano 106.9, Q 92 and JACK, will host a Teacher Supply Drive. This incredible event is presented by JAG Metals LLC. It's the Second Annual Teacher Supply Drive just for the unsung heroes in our children's lives- TEACHERS! If you would like to sponsor, donate, or get more information call 573-0777.

The Second Annual Teacher Supply Drive will take place August 5.

This year the event will take place at 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 5 in our radio station parking lot, 107 North Star Drive. The traffic flow bill be different this year.  Teachers will need to enter off Mockingbird Lane. Just like last year, our Townsquare Media employees and volunteers will handout 1,000 backpacks filled to the zipper with supplies needed for their classrooms. Twice as many as last year.  Hidden inside five of those backpacks will be those 'extra credit" grand prizes. which will be announced closer to date.

Teachers need tissue boxes, paper towels and antibacterial items.

Last year, we learned that Kleenex, Tissue boxes, paper towels, and antibacterial items were much needed items. If you'd like to donate supplies before the event, you can drop your donations off at the Townsquare Media radio station, 107 North Star Drive. Or for more information please call 361 573-0777. 

Townsquare Media Victoria gave away over 500 backpacks last year.

Our first event last year was a massive success! We gave out over 500 backpacks of school supplies for our teachers! Including special backpacks with 'extra credit" items. Check out this video from last year, look at that line of cars that extended out from Navarro into the Shooters parking lot.
