A lot of us can't help ourselves when it comes to supposedly haunted places. There's something about coming face-to-face with the unknown that many find appealing. Maybe that's what convinced this guy to travel into the belly of an abandoned crematorium.

Check out this creepy abandoned site in Texas, that happens to be a crematorium.

What Is A Crematorium?

In case you haven't pieced it together just from the name alone, a crematorium is basically the place where bodies go to be cremated. These facilities may vary in design and size, but their purpose is the same.

This video is of a crematorium that hasn't been used for a very long time. It's decrepit and falling apart. It's the victim of graffiti. Also, this doesn't look like a safe spot to be exploring judging from the shape it's in.

Is The Old Corsicana Texas Crematorium Really Haunted?

The video description states that it's the most haunted place in town. Judging from this video, as is the case with most videos, it's not. It's just really old, and creepy. The "creepy" factor comes from what the place was used for. That's probably the reason why some would call it "haunted." You can watch the video of the crematorium below. Heads up, it does contain some NSFW language and goofy commentary.

My favorite part of the video is where he says, "...where people were burned alive. Dead. Sorry."

Supposedly, it was built in 1934. Digging through the YouTube comments on the video, one person claiming to be from Corsicana states that the crematorium was actually built to dispose of animals. That might explain the lack of ghosts in the video.

With that, I've given you most of the information I've been able to find. I can't find any ghost stories online, anywhere. There are no urban legends that have made it to the Internet. The only thing I've been able to find is this one video of a person going into the crematorium armed with nothing but some night vision.

The location is interesting, and that's about where it ends.
