The TV show "Daytripper" showcases many of the smaller communities in Texas. The show shares the culture, food, and historical sites, which includes a previous episode that features Victoria!
The most recent episode features Yorktown and gave a taste of the episode with a live broadcast on Thursday, February 19, on Austin PBS. The full episode will premiere on YouTube tonight, February 23, at 7 p.m.

What is being showcased in the Yorktown episode?

The show's host, Chet, makes stops at Abuelita's, Yorktown Memorial Museum, Nordheim Shooting Hall Club Dancehall, 5D Steakhouse, and the very haunted Yorktown Memorial Hospital. It's always so awesome to learn about these small towns

Victoria has been showcased on another TV Show.

Back in 2024, another TV show called the Texas Bucket List made a stop in Victoria. They stopped at the Cajun Wok that is located inside of the Beverage Wall on Ben Wilson. The food there is absolute fire! The host thought so as well.

@thetexasbucketlist Over in Victoria, there’s an eatery in an unassuming gas station and it is AWESOME! See why Cajun Wok is well worth a stop on The Texas Bucket List! #cajun#asian#fish#shrimp#butter♬ Texas Cajun - Jimmy C. Newman
