Be Careful, Snakes Can Hide Anywhere in Texas
Living in Texas, some of us are used to seeing snakes in the most random places. Snakes don't stick to the outdoors; they often find places to hide in your garage, attic, and places you would never even think of. But one of the scariest places is in your own car. A Texas driver recently posted a TikTok video of them finding a snake coming out of their car while they were pumping gas.
In a recent video posted to TikTok by @iphoneboi2, a man was putting gas in his truck when he noticed something abnormal - a snake's head peeking out from underneath his back bumper. The man used some kind of hook tool to try to remove the snake. However, the snake was super aggressive, and the video ended before he could capture it.

Snakes are unavoidable in Texas.
It's impossible to avoid snakes in Texas. I have lived in Texas my entire life and have had countless interactions with the creatures. I once found multiple copperheads tangled up with each other. And last year, a five-foot snake overtook my front porch.

Luckily, the snake at my door turned out to be non-venomous. But that is not what you are thinking about when you first see the snake. It turned out to be a western rat snake, which is good to have around for pest-control. Thanks to technology, we have the video of the moment I said nope to the snake, and I didn't even drop my drink.
