What Does It Cost for Carnival Rides at Rodeo Houston?

We're less than two months out from Rodeo Houston! With the rodeo's entertainment lineup dropping, people are also wondering about what will be new at this year's rodeo when it comes to food and games. Luckily, Rodeo Houston already has all the info you need for this year's carnival.

While everyone is talking about the entertainment, not many are talking about the carnival. I love the Houston carnival just as much as the concerts. So I always think it's fun to break down how much it will cost to ride at the carnival.

2026 Rodeo Houston carnival ride prices.

Let's start by saying they do not offer all-you-can-ride wristbands at the Rodeo Houston Carnival. The carnival ticketsare valid for both rides and games and can be purchased at the carnival for $1.25 each. Most rides require 3-8 tickets. Rides and games require multiple tickets and could cost anywhere from $3.75 to $10 for each ride.

You can also spend an additional $30 per person for a Fast Pass. This will allow you to skip the lines and jump right to the front. Please keep in mind that the pass is in addition to your carnival ride tickets. These are very limited. Get more information by clicking here.

Here is what it costs for Rodeo Houston Carnival rides in 2025.

Although we don't know the price of each individual ride for this year's carnival, we decided to look back at the costs from last year's carnival. Hopefully, the costs don't go up like everything else.

The Huge Ferris Wheel, La Grande Wheel XL, took 5 tickets to ride ($6.25).
The Cliffhanger took 5 tickets tor ride ($6.25).
The Classic Tilt-a-Whirl took 5 tickets to ride ($6.25).
The Zipper took 6 tickets to ride ($7.50).
VW Bugs(Kiddie Car Ride) took 4 tickets, $5 to ride.

Carnival admission is included with the purchase of an NRG Park Admission ticket or a rodeo/concert ticket. NRG Park Admission ticket sales end at 9 p.m. each day. In addition to the carnival, NRG Park Admission tickets allow visitors access to NRG Arena and NRG Center. A rodeo/concert ticket allows access to the same areas as a grounds pass, plus NRG Stadium for the rodeo and concert performance. More information is available online at Visit RodeoHouston.com.
