If you are looking for a diamond in the rough, here is your chance!  The Victoria County Sheriff's Office has announced a public auction of abandoned vehicles. The event will take place on Thursday, September, 17, 2026, at the Victoria Auto Auction at 805 Industrial Park Drive.

Get there early to register for the auto auction.

Registration will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., and the auction will begin at 11:30 a.m. The vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder. The proceeds will satisfy an indebtedness. The most common cars on the list are Dodge Chargers and Chevy Impalas. According to the post, the auction will be open to the public!

 

The vehicles included in the sale were declared abandoned and, after the required notice, were not reclaimed by the last known registered owner.
The auction in Victoria will be held in accordance with Chapter 683 of the Texas Transportation Code.

• No warranties are expressed or implied.
• Payment is required the same day as the sale
• No personal checks
• Cash and cashier's checks are the accepted payment methods.
