Here is When the San Antonio Riverwalk Will Light Up

As the Christmas season approaches, we are starting to see Christmas events pop up on our social feeds.  So here are a few dates that might help you make plans for the upcoming Holiday season:

LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE IN VICTORIA:

The Christmas Parade of Lights will be held in downtown Victoria on Dec. 3, the first Saturday in December. Registration for parade entries will open on Oct. 1. Registration is free, but space is limited, so residents are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Get more information by clicking here.

THE SAN ANTONIO RIVERWALK:

The San Antonio Riverwalk will officially light up for the 2022 season on the Friday after Thanksgiving, November 25th.  The light will remain on from dusk to dawn nightly through January 9, 2023 (at dawn). The will also be an official televised lighting ceremony in the Arneson River Theatre and will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022, to kick off the holidays at the annual Ford Holiday River Parade.

There are a total of over 100,000 lights which comes out to approximately 2,250 strings of lights. They have just also added new lighting north of downtown on the river in the Pearl District. Get more information about the lighted Riverwalk by clicking here.

CUERO'S CHRISTMAS IN THE PARK:

Plan to experience the 2022-2023 season beginning the Monday before Thanksgiving (November 21st, 2022), open 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM nightly through New Year’s Day in Cuero Municipal Park. A great way to spend an evening with the family. Click here for more information.
