Great Day Trips for Christmas in South Texas

Yes I know, Halloween has not even happened yet, but Christmas is always on my mind.
From putting up the Christmas Tree, cruising Christmas in the Park in Cuero, or just spending time with my family, it is indeed my favorite Holiday of the year!  My absolute favorite Christmas memory is spending Christmas Day at the Magic Kingdom, just last year.  I mean there is nothing more magical than seeing the castle lighted up for Christmas.  Check out this picture I took just last year.

While that is not happening for us this year, we do plan to make a couple of day-cation road trips for Christmas.  Before you take off you can start right here in Victoria with the lighted Christmas parade at Riverside Park on Saturday, December 5th..  Enjoy the Christmas magic from the comfort of your own vehicle and end your night with an awesome firework show.
