The scenario is nearly as old as horror stories themselves-a mass uprising of the dead from a strange virus, radiation released from a crashed satellite or some other weirdness. The zombies then amble about searching for live human flesh to devour to keep themselves 'alive'. From the classic 'Night of the Living Dead' to 'The Walking Dead' and all the other great books and movies based on that theme, there are plenty of great stories. The question is, what are the chances that we would survive a zombie apocalypse? The website Cable.com took a look at several factors such as agriculture, weapons ownership, climate, and solar energy to come up with a 'Doomsday USA' map, and Texas is ranked 11th for survivability.  Read the full report here and check out the map below.
