Former Victoria Hope Child Advocacy Director Arrested by Feds

The former Director of the Victoria Hope Child Advocacy Center was placed under arrest by Federal law enforcement officials last week over charges of allegedly publishing or threatening to publish intimate visual material  and for online impersonation for a web page.

According to a published report in the Victoria Advocate, 63-year old Ric Tinney had been investigated on the charges by Arlington Police, which were not related to his former position with the agency, which helps abused children. Tinney resigned as the agency's executive director following the board of directors learning of the investigation.

The agency's lead forensic interviewer Megan Burrow will serve as interim director while the board of directors searches for a replacement.
