Coach Travis Reeve has announced that he is leaving the Cuero Gobbler Football Organization.  Reeve will become the head football coach at Class 5A New Caney High School.  Coach Reeve was Athletic Director and Head Football Coach for eight years.  His overall record was 75-29 and he lead the 2014 squad to the  2018 Class 4A, Division II state championship. Coach Reeve's has his ties to Victoria, he was Quarterback for the Victoria Stingarees and led the Stings to 1993 State Semifinal Game.  Reeve's served as an assistant coach at Victoria High School under his dad.   He has also held assistant coaching positions at Plano West, San Antonio MacArthur, San Antonio Churchill. He will move on to New Caney.  Their record was 10-1 last season and lost to Richmond Foster in the bi-district round of the Class 5A, Division I playoffs.  Reeve hopes to bring a State Title to New Caney.  Thank you Coach Travis Reeve, for the awesome work you have done for football in Cuero and Victoria!!!
