When the thirst strikes, where are you going to be? Usually a craving for a great cocktail hits me when I'm at home. Luckily, these drink are easy to make and the ingredients can be found locally without having to go to a bar to order one. Let's work on those at-home-bartending skills with some new and fun recipes...

Grasshopper (original source)
Ingredients:
1 ½ oz Cognac
1 oz Creme de Menthe
1 oz Creme de Cacao
1 ½ oz heavy cream
Chocolate shavings
How To:
Combine all ingredients, except chocolate shavings, into a shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into a chilled glass and top off with the chocolate shavings

Black-Beery Whiskey Smash (original source)
Ingredients:
¼ cup fresh blackberries
Juice of ½ lemon
6 fresh mint leaves
2 tsp raw sugar
2 oz bourbon whiskey
2 oz wheat beer
Mint Sprig and Blackberries for Garnish
How To:
Muddle fresh blackberries, lemon juice, mint leaves and sugar in a glass. Stir in the whiskey. Add crushed ice and top with wheat beer. Then garnish with blueberries and mint sprig.

Wine Spritzer (original source)
Ingredients:
3 oz aromatic white wine (ex: Sauvignon Blanc)
1 oz club soda
dash of orange or lemon bitters
1 Orange or lemon twist
OR
Airplane version (original source)
2 oz Wine
1 oz Soda (Club or Sprite)
How To:
Pour the wine into a glass with ice a top off with the soda and bitters, then garnish with the twist.
