Caterpillar Announces a Temporary Shut Down in Victoria

Caterpillar officials has announced another temporary shut down.  This shut down comes months after another shutdown and layoffs.

This shut down is scheduled to take place on July 6th-17th and is part of a larger response by the company.    This is one of many actions taken around the globe by Caterpillar to offset a weakened customer demand due to COVID-19.  Details as to the date of the shutdown and the number of employees affected were not released.

Back in April, a temporary shut down at the Victoria plant affected more than 600 employees.
