Abbott Bans Government Issued Vaccine Passports in Texas
Governor Greg Abbott is on fire this week. He ain't throwing out the first pitch at an MLB game, and he won't be standing on the sideline while the Government seems to indicate plans to require a vaccine passport despite also saying previously they would not make it mandatory according to sources. Nothing like being prepared.
In the video above, Abbott talks about his executive order saying Texans will NOT be asked for proof of vaccination to travel internationally. One thing to remember about executive orders, they are good for as long as the person who issued them is holding office. Should someone else be elected Governor someday, these orders can be overturned. The same goes for the dozens and dozens of orders President Biden has signed. Should someone else be elected President, many can be swept out as fast as they were drafted.

As seen in the video, Abbott says, "Government should not require any Texan to show proof of vaccination and reveal private health information just to go about their daily lives. We will continue to vaccinate more Texans and protect public health and we will do so without treading on Texans’ personal freedoms.” Thank you, Governor.
Abbott's big Texas stop sign follows a similar order in the state of Florida. There, Governor DeSantis gave a similar order saying, "It’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society.”
Victorian's looking for the vaccine locally can head over to the waitlist to sign up. Once you register the wait time could be as much as 8 to 10 weeks. The sooner you are on the list the sooner you'll get a notification.
