When it comes to higher education, we're fortunate to have some great options in Victoria, and one of them has achieved more national recognition.

According to The Chronicle of Higher Education, the University of Houston-Victoria is now ranked as the 7th fastest-growing U.S. public master’s university from 2003 to 2013.

Those numbers are based on U.S. Department of Education data of total head count of full- and part-time undergraduate and graduate students.

In the list were four other Texas universities, two from the University of Texas System and two from the Texas A&M University System. UHV had the highest percentage gain in Texas, two spots above Texas A&M International.
