Today is International Internet Day! Takes the time and peruse your favorite sites and maybe find some new ones with similar topics...or completely random topics. Watch those cat videos, play those Facebook games, find some new information and learn all you can, enjoy all that the Internet has to offer.

Originally today's holiday is used as a sort of remembrance of for the very first electronic message (email) via a network. This was accomplished on October 29, 1969, when a UCLA Computer Science Professor and his staff sent the message “LO” over the telephone network to be received at Stanford University. And that lead to where emails are today. Another name for today's holiday is World Internet Day.
